Replaced the door tape.Rubbed down and painted all the interior & exterior steel box cast-iron shell & parts using 900°c stove enamel paint or stove blacking where appropriate Rebuilt the baffle plate Rubbed down and pared back damadged chromed parts to bare metal and repainted with silver 900c stove enamel Cleaned and polished the enamel. Lit the stove to check for leaks and seal the enamel paints used. Original firebrick in situ not needing replacing.Some small chips to the enamel not easily visible.One significant chip to enamel on rear see photosThis model is still in very good working condition and is now in very good condition visually It is very suitable for use as a fully functioning woodstove or a bio ethanol burner housing
The blue colour is quite COMMON. BUT this is the only model of this particular type we have personally seen
In terms of efficiency this stove is very efficient for the era and still compares favorably with modern stoves of similar size.
