ONE OF A KIND! a rare model and unseen colour by us

unknown model and certainly one rare one with a matching footplate making it rarer - not every purchase included a footplate
RENOVATIONS ARE
  • Replace the mica
  • Replace any worn bolts and nut with new stainless steel
  • Rub down and paint all the exterior cast-iron shell using 900°c stove enamel paint or stove blacking where appropriate
  • Rub down and repainted all cast iron or steel parts
  • Rub down and repainted steel firebox.
  • Rub down and pared back damadged chromed parts to bare metal and repaint with silver/grey/black 900c stove enamel
  • Clean and polished the enamel.
  • Light the stove to check for leaks and seal the enamel paint or varnish used
  • retouched enamel using high temp 900°c stove enamel and finished with laquer

DESIGN

  • perfect for sitting in front of a masonry chimney to act as a heat store
  • the floor, sides an back are lined firebricks which both store heat and increase efficiency. 
  • The double walled construction with open latticed designs, allows hot air to flow up through the two layers and circulate through the room faster, acting as a natural fan system. 
  • Vitreous ENAMEL colour
  • Cast-Iron exterior / interior firebox 
  • It has one very large window with mica allowing a beautiful view of the flames. 
  • When the exterior stove cast iron lid is closed the top of the stove can be used as a bain marie. 
  • moveable grate to shake ash using lever
  • integrated baffle in exit pipe
  • There is a nice large separate footplate for the stove to sit on and  to catch ash under the side door 
  • Air flow is controlled by the silver bottom knob on the ashpan
All its features work perfectly.
This stove will take Wood, Compressed wood blocks, Manure blocks

The efficiency of this model was never tested for CO2 output as it left the market decades before the introduction of such standards. ​
