ROSIERES comita 2
DESCRIPTION (measurements are metric)
 PEACOCK BLUE ENAMEL
CAST IRON exterior/interior cast and brick lined firebox
this model was constructed around 1925.

A pretty little piece of French art & industrial history,Rosieres comita partly dismantled and rebuilt,(see pics)

I have changed the Mica and replaced all nuts and bolts that needed changing, the firebox is in good condition as is the fire brick, the enamel is in good condition having a few age related chips mainly around the door, there is some heat crazing to the door and a chip to the ash pan door that I have redone with high temperature enamel stove paint.
It is a medium sized multi-fuel stove & will produce approx 4/5KW with well seasoned hard wood.

  • Mica Windows with integral design allowing a nice view of the flames.
  • It has a side opening door
  • Air flow is controlled by the knob on the door of the stove
In very good working order
This is a nice looking little budget antique working stove
will take Wood, Compressed wood blocks and eco-logs.
It will accept logs up to 20cm diameter, 32cm long

Height  65cm
Width  40cm
Depth  28cm
Flue 90mm

DESIGN

  • perfect for sitting in front of a 'masonry chimney' which will act as a heat store. Ensure the mortar sits flush against the rear of the stove
  • the floor,is lined with firebricks which both store heat and increase efficiency.
  • The double walled construction with open latticed designs, allows hot air to flow up through the two layers and circulate through the room faster, acting as a natural fan system.
  • Vitreous ENAMEL colour
  • Cast-Iron exterior / interior firebox
  • It has one very pretty rose flower design window with mica allowing a beautiful view of the flames.
  • When the exterior stove cast iron lid is closed the top of the stove can be used as a bain marie.
  • When lifted, the lid allows cooking on the stove firebox surface
  • Air flow is controlled by the silver bottom knob on the ashpan
All its features work perfectly.
This stove will take Wood, Compressed wood blocks, Manure blocks and smokeless fuels
