CONDITIONgood
the grills that retained coal are worn and we have added a grill to the base plate to compensate for this wear. The long fork which hung down in front of the window are now shorter which means we recommend it be used as a wood burning stove only and is not suitable for anthracite coal The low valuation reflects this wear. |
DESCRIPTIONCAST IRON exterior/interior firebox
this model is a classic ART Deco Nouveau fusion design and construction. It's proportions, large arched window and the handle and salamandre emblem are very art nouveau yet the clean simplicity of the overall design may put it later into the art deco period An absolutely stunning piece of French art & industrial history. It is finished in a very deep rich enamel on a cast iron body DESIGN
This stove will take Wood, Compressed wood blocks, Manure blocks The efficiency of this model was never tested for CO2 output as it left the market decades before the introduction of such standards. |
