RENOVATION

 I have Replaced the mica Replaced any worn bolts and nut with new stainless steel Rubbed down and painted all the exterior cast-iron using 900°c stove enamel paint or stove blacking where appropriate Rubbed down and repainted all cast iron or steel parts Cleaned and polished the enamel. Lit the stove to check for leaks and seal the enamel paint or varnish used.”

DESIGN

 ​The Lily model is a very good example of classical inspired French style,  with an Art Nouveau feel. It has a nice sized coal grate and movable shaker grate with a beatiful view of the flames through a rounded,  large, arched door with a beatifully patterned window made of nine mica window panes.

A flue-damper on the chimney outlet.

This model is perfect to sit into a small or medium sized modern, Victorian or early 20th century fireplace. It will suite a small or medium sized room up to 35/40metres and will slot perfectly against a masonry storage wall.

cast iron with enamel finish. front or top loading, with hinged lid, & flat top for cooking on. The lily model requires careful handling to lift the lid.
It is a medium sized stove & will produce a maximum 5/6KW 

  • Vitreous ENAMEL BLUE coloured CAST IRON exterior
  • with classic art nouveau flower motif,in A1 condition given its age.
  • Cast-Iron/ Steel interior firebox 
  • Original firebricks.(replaced)
  • Hinged  lid to reveal the top firebox for cooking on.
  • There is a nice footplate and a tray to catch ash under the Front DOOR of the stove. 

CONDITION

​The enamel and all parts are in excellent condition. There is some very light age related chips around the door and to the ash catcher in front of the door.
