- TOTALLY DISMANTLED AND REBUILT
- Replace the mica
- Replace any worn bolts and nut with new stainless steel
- Rub down and paint all the exterior cast-iron shell using 900°c stove enamel paint or stove blacking where appropriate
- Rub down and repainted all cast iron or steel parts
- Rub down and repainted steel firebox.
- Clean and polished the enamel.
- Light the stove to check for leaks and seal the enamel paint or varnish used
This stove is a very handsome and sturdy piece of industrial design by one of the most famous French stove foundries. It first appears in the 1925 catalogue.
This was an extremely popular model which can still be found in use and as decoration across France due to both it's popularity and it's sturdy construction, clever & stylish design and the very high quality of materials used.
The pale BLUE colour is common but this one has a beautiful cloudy sky effect
Most common models of this type were pale blue or brown.

A gorgeous piece of French art & industrial history. It is finished in a rich enamel on a cast iron body with internal steel box and baffle
it has a turn screw air inlet and a baffle in the firebox to reduce the air flow out and encourage secondary burning of more smoke within the firebox once the stove is hot.
This stove will take Wood, Compressed wood blocks, Manure blocks AND SMOKELESS LOGS
The efficiency of this model was never tested for CO2 output as it left the market decades before the introduction of such standards.
